Responsibilities included Accounting, Operations, Materials, Quality, Human Resources, and Purchasing. Managed 320 employees generating $250M in sales with GM, BMW, MBUSI, VW, and Nissan. Achieved 278 consecutive days without a recordable incident while emphasizing behavioral based safety and improving the working environment with basic 5S methods. Improved customer satisfaction by 67% and OTD by 50% through quality and operational improvements.

My responsibilities included logistics, purchasing, supply chain, and resource planning for nine blow mold machines, fourteen robotic welders, and eleven assembly lines for a blow mold manufacturing Tier 1 supplier providing plastic gas tanks to the automotive industry. Partnered with Toyota BAMA to implement Toyota Production System within the logistics department utilizing lean methodologies to improve customer satisfaction and OTD.

Responsible for managing a Unionized Tier 1 manufacturing facility providing metal fabricated fuel filler tubes to the automotive industry. managed tube forming, fabricating, welding / brazing, powder and liquid paint processes. Responsibilities included Accounting, Operations, Materials, Quality, Human Resources, and Purchasing. Managed 150 employees generating $50M in sales with GM, Ford, Chrysler, and Nissan. Achieved 17 consecutive months without a recordable incident and Zero customer PPM .

Responsible for continuous improvement, lean deployment, culture, mindset, and behavioral change within an established Union manufacturing facility supplying metal fabricated fuel filler tubes to the automotive industry. Completed multiple projects improving Key Performance Indicators through utilizing Six Sigma and Lean methodologies. Projects improved operational efficiency, labor utilization, cell layout, material flow and SMED. Trained, coached, and mentored multiple Green Belt groups through certification.

Responsible for transfer of manufacturing equipment and process between 2 Kautex facilities including infrastructure modifications. Developed and executed new business training plan in a Union environment.

Plant controller for Tier 1 automotive manufacturer (metal tube forming) providing product to Nissan, Chrysler, GM & Ford. Approx $90M in sales and partial oversight of North American HQ in Troy, MI.
