  Finance Director and Company Secretary at The Black Sheep Brewery plc.A founding executive in a Yorkshire success story, Black Sheep has a brand and beers known far and wide. • Key role from day one in building a well-respected £19m turnover business with 145 employees.• Created and led a flexible and commercial finance department of ten people.• Excellent cash flow management. From start up, through growth phases, seasonal pressure points and recent refinancing. • Ensured funding was always available for both growth and working capital (ie second Brewhouse in 2007, plus moving our Transport & Warehouse facility to new £1.7m premises in 2012).• Successfully moved banks and refinanced the £1.7m term loan and £3m Invoice Finance facility in 2017. • Acquiring York Brewery and their four pubs from Administrators in late 2018.• Secured funding for a £2.0m bottling and canning facility in 2019.• Achieved Grant Funding from the LEP for the above project.• Ensured that the brewery visitor centre (bar, bistro, shop and tours) grew and was profitable as a result of direct responsibility for the last ten years. Grew sales, improved margins, reduced staff costs and overheads. It has a £1m turnover and is an extremely positive visitor experience.• Established excellent long term relationships with all key stakeholders.
