The contract includes the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of a Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) at Ichthys Onshore LNG Facilities, Blaydin Point in Darwin, Australia. The CCPP is designed for approximately 500 megawatt of electrical power demand and will be operated following Australian industry standards and practices. The CCPP is designed for island mode operation i.e. no availability of electrical power from local power grid. Reliability, availability of power and minimum greenhouse gas emissions are the key factors to be considered in the design of the power plant. Steve’s role as Senior Superintendent was to plan sequence co-ordinate and execute all daily works on the project filling in as the Construction Managers back to back, development of new initiatives, IIF leadership, setting up a successful night shift and leading LPI safety senior management walks with the client, Interfacing with the client and company over best for project outcomes, compliance audits, completions and commissioning to hand over a world class project

This included installing 2 DC furnaces, smelters, hammer mills and a grinding and drying plants also Heavy lift crane coordination and SPMT movements
