The integration involved Workday, PeopleSoft Finance and multiple internal and external HR and non-HR systems. My team was responsible for leading and developing tactical plans and initiatives to deliver the outcomes of the transformation project, developing solution options to solve complex business problems, and ensuring that project activities aligned with the needs of business, relevant employment legislation and CBA’s data security framework. At the core of the transformation program was employee-centric design that balanced the automation of key business processes and self-service with robust controls supporting 50,000 employees and contractors. A core tenet of my role was to collaborate with HR Areas of Expertise and the business to ensure that the new HR platform supported the desired end-to-end employee experience.
