Green Warrior Permaculture is now spanning several Asian countries conducting training, consulting and designing projects to lift people put of poverty at the same time rebuilding their eco-systems. Permaculture is used to solve social, economic and environmental problems. Our push now is to train the trainers and create an Asia-wide guild of effective trainers and field specialists.

We are also running courses for youth that want an alternative to conventional primary school and high school. Our success in the past with training young people has made us popular with parents of troubled teenagers and kids too smart for conventional education. I am developing training centres (Permaculture Field Schools) to teach people Permaculture and Permaculture Aid. Permaculture Aid helps,people rebuild their food security, ecosystem and economy post disaster. Our training centres are built to be typhoon resistant and are made form local materials like bamboo and thatch. As we expand we aim to incorporate animals, aquaculture, a nursery and inter-cropping as well as eco- education tourism.All our training is mostly hands-on. We are the first dedicated Permaculture Aid training facility in the world. Training packages start from a 2 week course up to a 2 year cadetship. Abim Uganda

My role was to develop a strategy for food security for rural Uganda. My role included setting up programs to wean people off 40 years of aid. I designed and built many village gardens, water tanks, improved animal systems to teach the people how to gain self sufficiency and food security. I trained local trainers to go to 220 rural villages and deliver permaculture education. I also set up programs to give youth an alternative to raiding and violence as well as. giving women home based livelihoods as an alternative to food aid.

I designed and developed the Greenhand Permaculture Field School in Aceh after the 2004 tsunami. With my small team we built the farm and school from tsunami debris. We taught survivors how to grow food in salt affected land, trained staff and set up SOPs for future activities. Despite daily earthquakes, religious extremists and armed conflict the Greenhand Permaculture Field School made a major impact on the survivors of the worlds largest tsunami in history. After 1 year the local Achenese permaculture team took over the project to develop Achenese Permaculture.

I set up a permaculture training NGO and trained another 76 local and international NGO's in permaculture community development. I worked as a trainer and consultant for the UN run government forestry of East Timor. I trained competent East Timorese permaculture trainers who are now training their own trainers.
