I manage the day to day operation of Smart Employment Solutions. Smart Employment solutions is a not-for-profit, charitable and public benevolent organisation with a mission to relieve poverty, distress, misfortune, destitution and helplessness occasioned by unemployment by providing increased education opportunities for the unemployed with particular emphasis on youth and the disabled.Our services are underpinned by 30 plus years’ delivery experience and by our vision that social and economic participation should be a right of all individuals in our communities. We offer support to people from various backgrounds and abilities, including disengaged youth, migrants, long-term unemployed, people with disabilities. We have helped thousands of young apprentices and trainees throughout South East Queensland start their trade careers while making it easy for employers to hire.Our staff are passionate about supporting disengaged young people to regain a purpose in the community by being given a chance to play a contributing role by gaining a trade through an apprenticeship.

I started at Highway Automatics as an apprentice motor mechanic and after I completed my apprenticeship worked as service advisor.
