With 35 years in the Natural & Organic food world, sustainable agriculture has been my life's passion. I have worked in many capacities within the natural food "industry", mostly on the front lines of business development & sales, opening international markets, education & outreach on both the business and policy/certification aspects of organic trade. I have been deeply engaged in policy and government activities as they relate to organic food and agriculture. Also experienced in Sourcing, Sustainability and Strategic Planning. As of January, 2018, I am a free agent and working on various developments in the food and agriculture sphere, both locally & internationally on a consulting basis. Available for new projects. Specialties: I speak Japanese & French, & have an in depth understanding of international trade issues and export procedures, as well as organic food production systems & manufacturing. I have expertise in sustainable agriculture, home gardening & composting, harvesting, cooking and preserving foods.
