Development Manager
Development Manager leading multiple teams of skilled developers in an agile environment, delivering industry leading solutions using innovative designs and techniques. I have led a number of initiatives to improve productivity and quality, along with better cross team collaboration - hackathons, trainathon (targeted team based training), company wide evening talks. Having always worked to foster good relationships with other teams, the natural outcome has been a DevOps programme. While still early days the outcome has seen some great work in the automation of a number of areas of the delivery pipeline.Encouraging the development team to learn new skills and explore innovative solutions has seen the knowledge expand to newer teach such as MongoDB, RabbitMQ and Redis.
