At HDR, I have continued to leverage my knowledge and skills as an engineer and project manager. Since beginning here I have managed and engineered several local projects including the SR-55 PA/ED, a small project in San Juan Capistrano, the I-15 express lanes PA/ED, and the complex C-Street / I-110 interchange in the Port of Los Angeles.

At Parsons I first started as a Design Project Engineer, I eventually became a Senior Project Engineer and Project Manager. At Parsons I was involved with every developmental aspect of Caltrans highway projects including, but not limited to, environmental studies and reports; project reports; final plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) packages; and highway construction. Sample projects I worked on include working in the City of Bakersfield coordinating all project management aspects of four complex projects. I worked at Caltrans District 8 as a consultant Project Manager where I was managing up to twenty projects at one time.Locally within Orange County, I delivered the I/5 at Ortega Highway Project Report and Environmental Document. For this project I managed the project schedule and budget while also engineering five study alternatives.

Costa Mesa, Ca

During this period, I worked as a designer developing plans and exhibits for a land development project. In particular I worked on the initial phases of the Playa Vista land development adjacent to Marina Del Rey in West Los Angeles.

Orange, Ca

Beginning as an Intern/CADD Operator full time while continuing my education, I worked up to being a Design Engineer and Project Engineer. My duties involved the engineering drafting and designing of final plans.

Costa Mesa, Ca

My initial employment as Psomas was for a project in which we digitized Pacific Bell phone lines into a GIS system. When this project was completed, I was move to being a hand draftsman. I eventually took a position with Parsons Brinckerhoff when the opportunity to work in the emerging CADD field became available.
