I am a Professional Engineer who has been working in the composite materials industry since 2004. My areas of expertise include design for manufacture, structural analysis (FEA), and material and process engineering. Over this time, I gained familiarity with multiple manufacturing processes for reinforced thermoset and thermoplastic composites and have hands-on manufacturing experience. I have worked on projects across multiple industries from aerospace to industrial equipment at all stages of product development from concept development, material and process selection, feasibility/trade studies, detailed design, manufacturing risk-reduction, first article development, manufacturing implementation, and certification support. In addition to performing at technical role, I have extensive experience performing project management including project planning, budgeting, tracking, and managing external partners. This included 8 years acting as a project manager for a collaborate research and development consortium comprised of Canadian aerospace OEMs, SMEs, academic institutions, and research organizations.
