I would describe Myself as a practical Lateral thinker and Problem Solver I have the ability to See the path through the Woods Not just a Sea of Trees I can often Connect the Dots and find Solutions to problems Sometimes Overlooked by ' Experts ' in their field I was Once called by a German Yacht Broker in Porto Cervo Sardinia called Lothar Heilman I had previously done some work on some of his clients powerboats Riva's / Hatteras's etc A client of his was The Count du Montal at the time the richest man in France his holiday home was Bianca Jaggers old Villa in Porto Cervo He had an Offshore Power Boat called Coastal King A Sardinian boat yard had Not Winterised the engine properly then over revved it from a cold start throwing a con rod through the block He only used to come to his Villa for x4 weeks and used his boat to reach the chain of stunning islands between Sardinia and Corsica and to entertain himself and his friends on ... it was a Beast with Surface drives 60 knots and a huge rooster tail going 30ft into the air behind the boat In August everything shuts down in Italy no one there or in the South of France boatyard wise would even look at it until September after he had returned to France I told Lothar to leave it with Me ....I called up Mercruiser in Fond du Lac in BelgiumWho had originally supplied both the engines and surfaces drives for Costal King I got through to the MD who I discussed options with ..He had an engine in a crate and his friend had a helicopter x2 days later it was done Happy CountI was in the canteen @ IBM at Winchester on a Partnerworld course I was talking to a man who explained a problem that they had been trying to resolve I got a sheet of paper and Drew a rather sketchy diagram of some different servers doing different things and Connected in a certain way He just sat there dumbfounded going over it again and again it was a Eureka moment for him He said I don't believe that You just put all that together so simply off the top of your head ! What are you doing here ? I told him I had come for a lecture and a demonstration of some New Concept called ' Cloud Computing ' which was going to be the Future but was a bit lost about exactly what Server Farms were I had learnt that IBM Z series servers running IBM databases were going to be hosting multiple Windows Server installations running Office etc for something called Thin Clients and all the information would all be stored and run in the Cloud Not on the laptop / pad etc It doesn't even seem that long ago now 😉

Consulting And Advising On EventsVarious Promoters And Organisations Aug 2000 - PresentUk / EuropeThere have been a number of ‘ High Profile ‘ well Organised, ‘ forced entry Invasions ‘ by Ticketless fans intent on getting in to Major Venues including Wembley / The O2 / The Wireless Festival and many others over the last 18 months These have involved hundreds of people on occasions, causing alarm panic and chaos at these VenuesIt is a fact that Historically Crush injuries have always been the biggest cause of Death and Injury at Major Events, So this behaviour has to be Stopped at all costThe reasons this is happening are many, a lot due to COVID, many Security companies having lost Key experienced staffThe other problem is Social Media, it is making it easy to organise a Mass coordinated crowd to appear out of no where, in seconds aka a ‘ flash mob ‘ and storm the main gates en Masse, or break through the ‘ steel shield ‘ around the Venue, or both methods simultaneously to cause further confusion There are many videos on YouTube bearing Witness to the Chaos, the disarray and obvious terror of inexperienced Front Line Staff trying to deal with something they have Never experienced or been trained to respond too, even a few Police Officers look totally out of their depth and are fighting a loosing battle trying to prevent young fit determined people run past them The other obvious danger is that None of the people doing this have undergone any kind of search. @ a Ministry of Sound at Knebworth years ago it was the people coming over the fence that were then carrying out muggings and robberies within the siteThat was until a well trained and experienced team rounded them up and dealt with them. I doubt that could or would happen now, because those people have all left the industry I am working with various promoters, to ensure that it doesn’t happen at their events, by using intel, undercover observation teams and having a reactive an experienced ‘ Response Team ‘ in place to repel any attempts to breach the gates or fences at their events

My role to act as a Buffer between the contracted Security Company and the Promoter, making Security related decisions on their behalf, enabling them to Concentrate on Producing the Event.The Role was Offered to Me after the Promoters took the advice of Jay Pender Worlddance/ Ministry of Sound Nye @ Millenium Dome x3 Richard of Raindance and Grant of Eperdemik all three Promoters Who I had Worked with extensively previously, recommended to them that I was taken on as Part of the Event Production Management team, which I was both Honoured and slightly taken aback by...My main and Most Critical role is to Perceive and Trouble shoot Problems, before or as they are starting to form, it is almost a sixth sense, a hard thing to explain, it is Your eyes brain and ears constantly scanning listening for changes in mood, attitude, facial expressions, body language, crowd movement or bunching in groups Sometimes I know something is happening,, You can almost sense and taste or smell the tension or vibration in the air, the difficulty is then trying to identify the cause and eliminate it, before it matures into something ugly and hard to control, with Big crowds often happily inebriated and high on substances, it maybe an arena has become unbearably hot and the side needs to be removed rapidly, from a Circus Sized marquee, because the wind has changed direction and the temperature has risen inside rapidly It could be the ingress of rain water turning the Dance area, into a quagmire of mud, or a Million and One things evolving and Mutating like a Virus and disappearing again a fast as the Mc or DJ changing the tempo...

We Purchased ' Rastafari ' a 10.5 metre Rib with twin 300hp Cats Coupled to directly driven 06 Castoldi Water Jets, it's Torque Popped 4Tons of RIB onto the Plane in Virtually its Own Length.She Was built as the tender to 'Desterio' the Italian Atlantic ChallengerThe Failed Attempt Prior to Richard Bransons Successful Challenge.She Carried 22 divers and Kit x3 crew Capable of 60 knots !
