There have been a number of ‘ High Profile ‘ well Organised, ‘ forced entry Invasions ‘ by Ticketless fans intent on getting in to Major Venues including Wembley / The O2 / The Wireless Festival and many others over the last 18 months These have involved hundreds of people on occasions, causing alarm panic and chaos at these VenuesIt is a fact that Historically Crush injuries have always been the biggest cause of Death and Injury at Major Events, So this behaviour has to be Stopped at all costThe reasons this is happening are many, a lot due to COVID, many Security companies having lost Key experienced staffThe other problem is Social Media, it is making it easy to organise a Mass coordinated crowd to appear out of no where, in seconds aka a ‘ flash mob ‘ and storm the main gates en Masse, or break through the ‘ steel shield ‘ around the Venue, or both methods simultaneously to cause further confusion There are many videos on YouTube bearing Witness to the Chaos, the disarray and obvious terror of inexperienced Front Line Staff trying to deal with something they have Never experienced or been trained to respond too, even a few Police Officers look totally out of their depth and are fighting a loosing battle trying to prevent young fit determined people run past them The other obvious danger is that None of the people doing this have undergone any kind of search. @ a Ministry of Sound at Knebworth years ago it was the people coming over the fence that were then carrying out muggings and robberies within the siteThat was until a well trained and experienced team rounded them up and dealt with them. I doubt that could or would happen now, because those people have all left the industry I am working with various promoters, to ensure that it doesn’t happen at their events, by using intel, undercover observation teams and having a reactive an experienced ‘ Response Team ‘ in place to repel any attempts to breach the gates or fences at their events

I Was the Security Coordinator for both the HD Fest and Sundance festival this Year Working Directly for the Two Promoters, Overseeing all aspects of Security both inside and Outside of the Site a Position I have held Since it's Inception three years ago. My role to act as a Buffer between the contracted Security Company and the Promoter, making Security related decisions on their behalf, enabling them to Concentrate on Producing the Event.The Role was Offered to Me after the Promoters took the advice of Jay Pender Worlddance/ Ministry of Sound Nye @ Millenium Dome x3 Richard of Raindance and Grant of Eperdemik all three Promoters Who I had Worked with extensively previously, recommended to them that I was taken on as Part of the Event Production Management team, which I was both Honoured and slightly taken aback by...My main and Most Critical role is to Perceive and Trouble shoot Problems, before or as they are starting to form, it is almost a sixth sense, a hard thing to explain, it is Your eyes brain and ears constantly scanning listening for changes in mood, attitude, facial expressions, body language, crowd movement or bunching in groups Sometimes I know something is happening,, You can almost sense and taste or smell the tension or vibration in the air, the difficulty is then trying to identify the cause and eliminate it, before it matures into something ugly and hard to control, with Big crowds often happily inebriated and high on substances, it maybe an arena has become unbearably hot and the side needs to be removed rapidly, from a Circus Sized marquee, because the wind has changed direction and the temperature has risen inside rapidly It could be the ingress of rain water turning the Dance area, into a quagmire of mud, or a Million and One things evolving and Mutating like a Virus and disappearing again a fast as the Mc or DJ changing the tempo...

I Spent Hundreds of hours taking increasingly more technically Proficient Photos Developing the films and learning all the Various printing effects Possible. My Bible was The National Geographic from the dentists and any where else I could find them.
