Profile bio

About Steve Dade

I am currently employed as a Business Unit Manager, for Belkin, looking after their KVM portfolio for the EMEA region. The portfolio contains desktop and server room KVMs as well as NATO certified secure devices, which in turn form part of the wider Belkin Cybersecurity range. This role involves designing the routes to market for each region, defining the financial targets for the unit as a whole, performing on site or online training (where applicable) as well as working with senior management to ensure a successful and smooth running business. I also manage the larger projects (NATO, MoD etc.) whilst still providing daily pre-sales technical support for all the regions.Prior to this I was employed by General Dynamics as a Solutions Architect where I also supported the sales teams, but primarily in the Military sector. Prior to this I was in the British Army - Royal Signals for 14 x years as a systems engineer, working on some of the latest technology available at the time, and I spent my last 5 years bringing a brand new communications system into use. I have a great deal of knowledge of different communications technologies, but during my time in the Army I was particularly known for my IP skills.

Listed skills include Tcp/Ip, Systems Engineering, Telecommunications, Integration, and 38 others.
