Led a team to help individuals experiencing homelessness address their initial barriers to income and skill development. Some of our services that address these barriers include:• Job Training (short-term, demand occupations for Bexar County, TX)• Skills Training (soft skills, job search, computer skills, financial literacy/budgeting, etc)• Childcare (on-site partnership with the YMCA)• Job Fairs/Employer Development• Transportation• Work Supplies/Clothing• Job Retention Support• Federal Benefits Application AssistanceWorking with our campus and community partners , we can help individuals access specialized programs like ID recovery, legal aid, financial counseling, GED, ex-offender programs, mental health counseling, youth programs, supported employment, among others.
