Steve Davis is Senior Advisor & Interim Director of Philanthropic Partnerships at the Gates Foundation, a lecturer at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and serves as a member of numerous boards and advisory committees. He currently serves as co-chair of the G7 Triple I Initiative to accelerate impact investments in global health. He recently served as Senior Advisor at McKinsey & Company, Executive Strategy Advisor & Interim Director, China Country Office with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, a Distinguished Fellow at the World Economic Forum, and as co-chair of the World Health Organization’s Digital Health Technical Advisory Group. In the past, he served as CEO at PATH and Corbis, as well as executive roles at McKinsey, IDRI, and other organizations.With degrees from Princeton University, University of Washington, and Columbia Law School, Davis speaks and writes regularly about the intersection of innovation, technology, and social impact. His book, Undercurrents: Channeling Outrage to Spark Practical Activism, was published in October 2020.Steve lives with his family in Seattle with his family.
