The WA Government's $80 million Native Forest Transition ensures affected workers, businesses and regional communities are supported through the transition away from native forestry. Through the program support was provided to affected workers and businesses, and the diversification of local economies within the native timber regions.

Development and integration of a Place Management Approach into the City's structure, and revision of the City's Community Engagement Framework.The includes building connections with internal and external stakeholders to understand local priorities and how to integrate these into the City's integrated planning framework. In this role I undertake a range of Asset Based Community Development initiatives and community engagement. Working with the local community and local businesses we've successfully undertaken a range of Place Activation projects.

In this role I led the the delivery of the City's reconciliation and multicultural portfolio, which included delivery of the City's first Reconciliation Action Plan.In this role I built connections both internally across the organisation, but also with the diverse community that makes up the City of Canning. In building these relationships both internally and externally to the organisation, I successfully delivered a range of initiatives and events in partnership with the community.I assisted the City's Engagement Team to develop the City's Community Engagement Framework and Engagement Tools.

At Commonground we support businesses and organisations needing help navigating government red tape to ensure project outcomes are achieved.We support organisations deliver a range of strategic initiatives, policies and community projects. We ensure local factors are appreciated in decision making so that generic policy positions don't undermine real outcomes.Our services include project mapping, need assessments, strategic planning, navigating approvals and project management.

Working as part of a multi skilled team, we work with youth to maintain or improve their mental health. This includes looking after young people's holistic health and well being. My role is to work with young people who have shown an interest to get into the workforce. I work one on one with young people to identify their goals and aspirations and then work with them to find the right employment fit, and support them to stay in employment.In addition to working directly with young people, a large part of my role is about building strong relationships with community stakeholders and local businesses.It's a great role and pumped to be involved!!

In this role I worked with a wide range of organisations, corporations, businesses and local governments to achieve their project outcomes.
