Acts as a lead partner in developing the integration of HIV/Hepatitis C and other sexual health activities. Internal planning and implementation work group is actively engaged and working towards a well-established integration plan. HIV staff is committed to integration efforts in the medical and behavioral health setting. Leads and manages staff through mentoring, coaching, and supervision ensuring staff engagement to meet organizational and programs' goals and objectives. Staff meet productivity benchmarks as outlined within individual job descriptions and program deliverable's. Staff are properly oriented and receive appropriate training to ensure successful performance. Staff is qualified and meet required competencies to fulfill positions. Staff receive timely and constructive feedback that will enhance performance. Leads team building, staff engagement, and plans strategies to facilitate integration of services into primary care and behavioral health/substance abuse care. Program is fully staffed. Hiring, orientation, and training meet established policies and procedures. Oversees program compliance, budgets, and program performance by analyzing aggregate data and reporting trends. Assures quality and compliance with policies and procedures and with contract/grants’ rules, regulations, and standards.
• Oversees all facility systems, i.e., program budget, building maintenance needs, equipment, safety/risk management procedures, medical records, linen, kitchen, laboratory and pharmacy issues, billing, purchase of medical and business supplies, quality improvement, policies and procedures.• Oversees the development, interpretation and implementation of the facility standards, policies and procedures as required by regulatory and / or funding agencies i.e., JCAHO, ADHS, PGBHA, VO, Behavioral Health Licensure and other contractual agencies as indicated.• Overall responsible to ensure the facility is operating within the FY budget. • Oversees all contractual arrangements with funding sources.• Oversees quality care issues i.e., peer review, FOCUS projects, program services, medical record documentation, patient inventory, incident and accident reports, patient and staff safety. • Collaborates with the Medical Director, Clinical Director and Director of Nursing to ensure patients receive quality care in a safe environment.• Oversees all regulatory agencies site inspections, i.e.; JCAHO, and Behavioral Health Licensure including coordinating, completing and implementing correction plans.• Provides overall leadership to the facility.• A team member of the Administrative Team (A-team) and Clinical Oversight Team (COT) including representing the facility in all administrative and clinical operations.
