My guiding principle is to always put the patient first, and this philosophy has been the driving force behind my success in overseeing drug discovery research projects from primary assay to IND-filing and into early development. I set research direction and project plans for multiple aspects of drug discovery, including assay development, validation, translational models, and toxicology. My broad knowledge and experiences in drug discovery research make me an asset to any team. I have extensive expertise in multiple disease areas and therapeutics modalities, including rare and orphan diseases, and with small molecules, peptides, and AAVs as therapeutic modalities. I am an innovative team leader with the ability to get results on time and within budget. My technical writing skills have led me to author pharmacology, DMPK, and toxicology IND sections for gene therapy, anti-infective, endocrine, and hematology projects.
