At the Internal Revenue Service, I led the Leadership and Cross-Functional Training Division within the Human Capital Office. In this role, I led Service wide initiatives aimed at continuous development of leadership across the Agency. With an intense focus on leadership development, succession planning and coaching across the Service, I led the teams.

• Managed the development and implementation of all governance and business processes surrounding the talent management systems for the Treasury Shared Services Center.
• Led four agencies through performance management program evaluation and the automation of it into a talent management system. Aided customer agencies in the interpretation of policies and translation into a system.
• Created and implemented a competency based assessment of all Treasury Human Capital professionals in an automated system resulting in development plans for over 2,000 employees across organizational boundaries.
• Managed systems that serve over 200,000 employees across 20+ agencies.
• Managed the learning management system that produced 5,000 to 100,000 training events yearly in various agencies.
• Managed the human resource, contract, budget, policy, procedures, internal controls, security, and general operations of 3 organizations (budgets from $2M to $20+M).

• Led a Departmental effort to assess all Treasury’s Senior Executive Service competencies and ensure effective development of their key competency gaps through a 360 degree assessment and follow up coaching. This.
• Supervised and led 3 HR and HR IT organizations with staff of 7 to 15 employees and 30 contractors.
• Led a group of over 30 volunteers to deliver the annual training event for over 200 training professionals.
• Designed, validated and implemented competency models for all occupations within a Bureau resulting in a comprehensive competency assessment in a learning management system for all personnel. These competency models.
• Developed and aided in the implementation of a successful strategy for comprehensive succession planning of the Top 100 leadership positions across Treasury.

Successfully planned and executed a multiple agency conference for training personnel in the Federal space. As a result of my service to the organization, I was asked to join the Board of Directors of the organization. I am now a Board member of the Training Officers Consortium.

Trained and developed activies and programs to better serve the Bureau in its training and development needs. I also led initiatives that ultimately ended with comprehensive competency models for mission critical occupations as well as a leadership framework.
