Currently working on a major re-implementation/data migration project for a client based in the Republic Of Ireland. The objective is to migrate the nominal and purchase ledgers of two companies one euro and the other sterling denominated into a new combined set of ledgers whilst also modifying the Chart Of Accounts. Responsibilities include designing the new Chart of Accounts and configuring the new ledgers master-files, advising the clients technical team on required modifications to interfaces from feeder systems, report writing, training and support.Working as part of an ERP project team moving a manufacturing client onto IFS from a combination of CODA for the Financials, CP Solutions for Purchasing and a bespoke Sales and Distribution system. Responsible for all aspects of the financial data migration ie migration strategy including: Identification of all the standing master-file and transactional data that was to be migrated. Extraction and where required manipulation/modification of information to be compliant with the data formatting specifications within IFS. Validation of data in the new system through extensive use of reconciliation work on standing and transactional data from the Nominal Ledger, Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger. Obtaining sign-off from the CFO, Group Financial Controller and key departmental heads that the migration was complete and accurate.IFS end user training on all finance modules.
