Trained as a scientist with specialism in neuro and cardiovascular physiology, subsequently worked in academia (4 years) then (for 25+ years) in the pharmaceutical industry. I am a highly experienced drug development expert who has led clinical development and global project teams for many drug development programmes through to regulatory approval and an experienced manager of large teams of staff.I am now a self-employed consultant providing strategic and operational expertise to the healthcare industry - my specific areas of expertise are drug development strategy from first into man to marketing approval, clinical operations, general management and clinical development. Currently I am Vice President Clinical research at Curelator Inc. which develops digital platforms to improve management of a range of chronic conditions.
