Head of department with responsibility for:*Property and Estates Management, - hard and soft facilities management of London site and assurance that the three operational sites are being managed according to the terms of the contracts in place. Resourcing property when needed and working with landlords and specialist advisers. Developing a shared service operating model with other government depts.*Health and Safety, I'm the Health and Safety Officer for the organisation providing strategic direction for health and safety ensuinge full compliance with regulations. I report to the Board on H&S matters.*Environmental and Corporate Social Responsibility; I develop the Environmental strategy for the business. I am the risk policy manager for the NS&I Workplace and CSR Risk Policy reporting to the Executive Committee and Board on these matters. I lead the Property and Facilities Team and working groups which have direct involvement in the workplace and CSR agenda. I work with outsource providers to assure that they are working to the NS&I objectives in these areas.*Corporate Applications - software management; I lead the team which manages the NS&I corporate applications. They develop and implement the Head Office IT strategy adnsystem manage the applications.*Business Process Management & Improvement. I develop and deliver the strategy to ensure that all head office processes and systems are understood and documented and there is a methodology to improve processes, *Corporate Culture. I work cross functionally with HR, L&D, Compliance and Risk to ensure that the corporate culture inspires NS&I staff in a Great Place to Work. A major project at present is to define and deliver the culture which supports the Financial Conduct Authority regime
