As a communications counselor at Fleishman Hillard, I led client service teams within the food and agriculture practice group. My primary client resposiblity included The Catfish Institute, which under my leadership, grew from $500,000 to more than $1 million in annual billings; the team earned NAMA's "Best of Show" award in 2001 for the "Raised in the USA" program, which raised awareness and consumption for U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish. I also served as team leader for Canola Council of Canada, National Sunflower Association, and Meals on Wheels Association of America, and worked on a wide array of marketing, communications, and media relations projects for clients such as Monsanto, Bayer, Premium Standard Farms, and Desert Glory, to name a few. In addition, I led or participated in a number of new business "wins," resulting in more than $5 million in new agency fees.
