Steve earned his bachelor's degree in finance from Indiana University in 1969 and ABA graduate banking study degrees from Oklahoma University and the University of Chicago. Prior to joining Baird in 1995, he spent 25 years in banking. Presently he is a Registered Investment Advisor Representative and holds life and long-term care insurance licenses.He is the past president of the Indiana Bankers Lending Association. Over a 20-year period, he has taught courses in finance, lending and investments at the University of Indianapolis and Indiana University. He offers clients a wealth of experience in varied financial services.Married with four children and nine grandchildren. He enjoys spending time fishing, playing with grandchildren, and traveling with his wife. Steve's family is a past winner of the Madison County Mental Health Association's Family of the Year award. He has served on the board of directors of Big Brothers of Indianapolis, Madison County Urban League and Madison County Junior Achievement.
