After purchasing Pland Stainless with business partner Ian Hodgson (Operations Director) in 2008, Steve has used his wealth of industry knowledge and experience to successfully put ambitious growth plans into place.He possesses a well rounded skill set that is well suited to the role of Managing Director. As an expert in the stainless steel industry, his wisdom and expertise is second to none.
Steve started with the company as a Forklift Truck Driver in 1980 and worked his way up through the company in varied roles including inspection and sales support to becoming Commercial Manager in the year 2000. After spending eight years in the role, Steve and Ian acquired Pland Stainless from a previous owner/director. Following the acquisition, he became Commercial Director before eventually taking up his current role as Managing Director.
