Manages operations, compliance, human resources, finance, and logistics for the project.• Acquisition of supplies, services (including sub-consultancy services), and equipment through established procurement methods, processes, and thresholds that comply with the requirements of USAID and AECOM’s policies and procedures• Implements operational, accounting, and internal controls policies and procedures to ensure they comply with USAID rules and regulations• Identifies gaps in internal controls or other compliance and operational areas and propose corrective actions for management's actions• Conducts annual audit(s) and addressing any resulting audit recommendation(s) in a timely manner• Reviews financial reports and vouchers in addition to tracking actual versus budgeted accounts in order to identify potential discrepancies• Develops and implements recruitment and retention plans that are aligned with the project objectives and comply with USAID rules and regulations, as well as with the local labor laws for locally employed staff

Kandahar And Kabul, Afghanistan

Direct the day-to-day needs of programs and operations at offices in Kabul, Afghanistan. Supervise 14 direct reports, and manages a staff of 100+ employees. Manage facilities for 46 offices and accommodations throughout the Kabul, eastern and southern Afghanistan regions.
