Upon leaving school in 1996 I joined the British Army. Already having an active outdoor lifestyle army service resulted in installing a work ethic second to none, fully appreciative of the need to remain focused and calm when under pressure in order to achieve the required outcomes. Upon leaving the army I continued working within specialist security and later policing. I have achieved a vast amount of life experience resulting in positions as team leader and supervisory roles. A long side these positions I have been involved in the delivery of training to security professionals and police officers. As part of a volunteer emergency organisation I found myself working alongside ground support to the helicopters fighting a major bushfire. My actions and abilities resulted in my being offered a seasonal position. Utilising gained skills and experience I was able to progress into the position of Ranges and Training Area Manager for Ventia, contracted to the Australian Department of Defence.Outside of work I enjoy photography, scuba diving, kayaking and bush walking.You will find me to be a physically fit, highly motivated and a resourceful team player.
