Steve Ebeling most recently worked at Publicis Sapient as a Frontend Architect for whom he had been with for over 16 years. While his home office was based in Seattle, Steve worked remotely for the last 8 years and currently works from his home in Hawaii. During his time with the company, he worked on several accounts, consistently delivering high-quality, dynamic data-driven applications. Additionally, Steve has over 6 years of experience leading frontend development teams consisting of both onshore and/or offshore team members and has extensive knowledge and experience in client interaction, team leadership, frontend technologies, accessibility, and programming best practices.With Steve's long history at Publicis Sapient, he had the opportunity to work on many different types of projects. Most recently, Steve was part of the Mayo Clinic project that produced a complete rebuilding of their fully authenticated Patient Portal entities, which included a Next.js/React app for the web and new iOS and Android mobile applications. Before his time on Mayo Clinic, he led frontend teams on projects for other well-known companies such as Intel and T-Mobile. These projects were CMS based and both leveraged the concept of "headless" frontend components. While the overall project architectures and frontend technologies varied, both projects ultimately required the team to build author-able components that were data source agnostic. Before his time as an architect, Steve also worked as a lead developer on many accounts such as Microsoft, Mercedes Benz Financial Services, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Ford, Chase, and more. During this time, he helped build user interfaces using a wide variety of frontend technologies, JavaScript frameworks, and content management systems. Prior to joining Razorfish/Publicis Sapient, Steve helped develop the UI for one of the first DVR boxes distributed by cable companies back in the early 2000s. After graduating for Renton Technical College with this 2-year computer science degree, Steve started his career building simple webpages for one of the first e-Learning websites during the .com boom.
