Provided technical support for all aspects of the sales cycle for the Datameer product primarily in both the federal and commercial spaces. Led a COTS and Reuse Analysis effort for the Space Radar program. Responsibilities of this job included technical investigation and prototyping of next generation service oriented architecture (SOA) technologies specific to exploitation and dissemination.The prototyping effort consisted of several web services orchestrated together by an enterprise service bus (ESB). The ESB brokered client connections utilizing different protocols (HTTP and JMS) to back end data services. Led presentations of this prototype with slides and live demonstrations to groups of government and civilian customers.

Upgraded the Plumtree portal to 5.0.4 and acted as a Plumtree consultant to train and lead the team on Plumtree related systems and developmental issues. Implemented many of the Plumtree Event Interfaces to customize the portal behavior and assisted in integrating the portal with SSO, Lotus Notes and LDAP. Developed Java/J2EE portlets to integrate with homegrown CMS and document management capabilities.

Extended the Plumtree Corporate Portal to meet internal functional requirements. Received Plumtree developer training for the published API’S, and customized the portal using .NET and Java portlets. Reverse engineered Plumtree Collaboration Server to gain a greater understanding of the internal functionality, and extended the source code base to satisfy internal requirements not supported by the Collaboration API. Senior Engineer for a large resource planning project that imports data from multiple data sources existing in the enterprise storage network and provides for correlation among the different data sources. Designed and implemented data importers to pull from disk array application API’s and business information spreadsheets. The system was implemented using Java, Torque, Oracle, PL/SQL, Together, SOAP, and Tomcat.

Maintained relationship with client while gathering requirements and assisting with the project plan given an aggressive deadline.Responsible for analysis, design and development of middle-tier java server development based on entity and session Enterprise Java Beans using JDBC to Oracle. Worked as development lead to implement a downloadable internet filtering system used by 10,000 customers. The filter was developed using Visual C++ with MFC communicating via HTTP with remote servers running Cold Fusion. Developed apache web server extensions on a UNIX platform to implement user session tracking using cookies and URL overloading. The system provided authentication and encapsulation for all token processing to provide a level of abstraction between the application and web server.

Used full life cycle software engineering principles to define requirements, design, implement, and test a 3 tiered systems development project utilizing client-server tools and methodologies.
