The job required parts procurement and distribution on a daily basis this required management and employees working together daily as well. Played an integral role in procuring new equipment in the outlet which required assurance that the equipment met the specs for use, location and logistics as well as matched the power sources available and insured if new sources of power were needed that we work with contractors or in house employees to do so. Assisted in the coordination of installation of equipment whether in house or contracted through vendors. Part of my job was to learn the functions and proper diagnostics of specialty equipment through out the various outlets so that we were not wasting money on parts .Insured that all employees received the proper training was a responsibility of management, as well as meeting the needs of customers during training. The assistant manager and manager were the primary individuals responsible for the Hood cleaning contracts in all food outlets whether they were paid outlets or in house outlets and their certification was maintained to NFPA standards. The Assistant Manager and the Manager were responsible for all fire suppression testing and recertification in all food outlets, There was two primary systems one being water suppression “Gaylord” and the other being a dry systems chemical system “Ansul” we also had to make arrangements for repair of these piped systems mainly through a vendor; Some in house repairs were made if they were simple and did not violate certification requirements to perform. The other suppression system that we kept in certification was FM-200 fire suppression.
