I have 30 years experience in highways design and management of projects and teams. In 2014 I joined Mott MacDonald where my role now focuses on Account Leadership. I am responsible for cultivating and maintaining the client relationship, for business development, leading bids and overseeing project delivery. Previously I have held a senior client facing role for Mott MacDonald highways business and in parallel, applied my technical skills and experience on specific highway commissions. I had a similar role in AECOM before I left, managing a team of highway engineers in the South East. For a time I was jointly responsible for cross discipline operational management of the engineering business in the South East. I have considerable experience in working with teams from all disciplines and understand how to coordinate specialist inputs to integrate into a successful delivery team. During my tenure as office leader I was responsible for overseeing an office move, restructuring and staff recruitment. I am interested in developing a diverse and efficient team in response to the rapidly changing highways market place. I seek to combine strategy with project success for the individuals, the team and the business. I am embracing a technologically driven change to the way we work which parallels my own enthusiasm for introducing new ways of working to improve delivery. I am passionate about use of effective communication as a vital part of teamwork.
