Platform can provide fully automated video and audio redaction, historical facial recognition & video conversion from many video formats (camera agnostic) to MP4 or AVI .

Work as a member of the Absolute Software Investigation Team. The Investigation Team provides assistance to police agencies when a mobile device, equipped with Absolute Software's unique & unrivalled visibility and control technology, is reported as stolen. Investigations Team members assist police in their criminal investigation by leveraging the forensic tools to develop information from the mobile device and supply this information to police investigators. Investigations Team members also provide training to police in the techniques used in tracking stolen mobile devices. This training includes both the use of the forensic tools and how we further develop this information to identify the person in possession of the stolen mobile device, which can also provide information on other contemporary crimes & officer safety concerns. Investigations Team members also work with customers to examine their risk exposure, suggest pro-active steps to avoid becoming a victim, and to facilitate their interactions with police when they are a victim.

Part time Patrol work

Worked as a Trooper, Sergeant, & Master Sergeant in various assignments as a road officer, investigator and supervisor. I spent approximately ten years as Police Legal Counsel for the Illinois State Police (ISP). During my assignment in the ISP Legal Office, I was involved in litigation as a Special Assistant Attorney General; represented the State Police in administrative actions such as EEOC & IDHR complaints; drafted legal opinions & memoranda; reviewed & drafted legislation; reviewed internal investigations and then drafted the administrative charges regarding employee misconduct that were prosecuted by the Illinois Attorney General's Office. After this long tenure in the ISP Legal Office, I returned to Investigations at ISP Zone 2. My last long-term assignment was as a multi-jurisdictional Auto Theft Task Force Commander. During my career, I also served on the ISP Tactical Response Team (SWAT) for twelve years in the roles of team member, squad leader & assistant team leader. This assignment to the ISP Tactical Response Team was an additional, voluntary duty, which involved deployment in high risk and other special operations assignments, such as service of high-risk warrants; large crowd control & search operations; and protection assignments, such as armed escort & rapid response duties during the 1994 World Cup Soccer detail in Chicago. I had also taken on the additional duties as an instructor at the Illinois State Police Academy, teaching primarily Criminal Law/Laws of Arrest/Search & Seizure/Police Use of Force and Emergency Vehicle Operations. I have also provided police instruction and/or written articles for North East Multi-Regional Training (regional law enforcement training), International Association of Auto Theft Investigators, Illinois Tactical Officer's Association, National Tactical Officers Association and the International Association of Chiefs of Police – Police Chief Magazine.
