Responsible for project evaluation, business case development and delivery of major consolidation projects as part of the Australia Post / StarTrack integration program.Led a national team of infrastructure specialists and worked across multiple functional groups including Real Estate, Procurement and Automation.Ensured that the strategic intent of proposed capital investments were met and that the related business benefits were robust and achievable.Brought discipline to the planning process during a time of major change across the business. Responsible for rapid mobilisation of a new project team in order to deliver two new facilities within short timeframes.

Led a national team with a mandate to ensure that the Board strategy was achieved for the design and delivery of Parcel processing and Gateway facilities in each state.Part of a $600m capital investment program.Key stakeholder management role which ensured that both the Operational and Program requirements were met.I was instrumental in driving culture change in relation to the planning process which delivered capital savings and reduced the time involved in decision making and internal approvals.Worked across multiple functional stakeholders in the Program Office, Real Estate, Operations, Automation, People and Safety, Finance and Sustainability.

Led a team of infrastructure specialists in the feasibility, planning, design and delivery of all infrastructure projects across NSW/ACT.Responsibilities included facilities, plant and equipment, consumables procurement and implementation of various change initiatives that supported the overall reform program for the logistics network in NSW / ACT.During this period I was responsible for planning and delivery of a $25m facility consolidation project in Sydney, which is now the largest of its type in the Corporation.I was directly accountable for development of the plan and feasibility, financial modelling and business benefits, through to production of the business case which required Board approval. My team was responsible for stakeholder management, project delivery and handover.This project brought together approximately 1,000 staff and contractors on one site, delivering recurring consolidation benefits of $5m per annum and providing a showcase facility which supports the enterprise customer strategy and operating model.

Financial Management, Budgeting, Planning, Advice and Support for the NSW / ACT operating division which employed more than 8,000 staff and contractors. Led a culturally diverse team of qualified finance managers and support staff.Management responsibility for operating expenditure of $1billion across 7 major operational divisions which were each led by separate Operational Executives and their management teams.During this period I played the key finance role in planning and delivery of continuous improvement projects that delivered over $200m in business benefits.Led a separate finance team which had national responsibilities for providing finance support to the Government and Enterprise sales group which had sales revenues in excess of $1billion.Achieved significant culture change across the finance function with a personal focus on building strong working relationships with the business.With my team, halved the time taken for the annual budgeting and planning process at the state level.Achieved buy in from local operational management for consistent delivery of stretch targets and oversaw a period of high performance in relation to financial results.

Financial Control and end to end management of the finance function in a start-up environment, initially at RAMS and then in a subsidiary, Connect Interactive.2IC role providing financial and commercial advice across all levels of management and staff.Commercial responsibility for all client and vendor relationships, face to face contract negotiation with clients that included Microsoft and Federal Government agencies.Managed the data room for 2 private capital raisings and jointly with the CEO developed and implemented a merger between Connect Interactive and an industry competitor.Responsible for presenting to prospective investors, managing the due diligence process and liaison with external legal and financial advisors.
