Founder And Developer
Fantasy Critic is essentially fantasy football for video games. I began writing the site in mid 2018 and launched it at the end of the year. It is an open source web application written with ASP.NET Core and Vue.JS. In addition to being the sole developer, I also act as the community manager for the Fantasy Critic community.In early 2022, I decided that after 3 years of working on the site only in my spare time, I wanted to make it my focus for at least a few months, so I resigned from Broadridge, started my own LLC, and opened a Patreon for the site.

After a few years as a junior developer on the ECS team, followed by about a year where I was the sole developer, the new version that I started on was taking shape and I began to manage my own team. At our peak, I led a team of 3 other developers and worked very closely with our business analysts to manage our task planning in biweekly sprint meetings. The revised ECS system I designed went live in late 2019 and fully replaced the original system in 2020. Our client base grew by a factor of four in this time range, which would not have been possible to accommodate using the old system.
