I've been a disc jockey on Kansas City radio since 1978. I spent 3-1/2 years at Q104 (KBEQ). I was also on the air at KY 102 (KYYS) for 11 years. And I've been with 101 The Fox (KCFX) since 1991. I am the longest tenured disc jockey on 101 The Fox!

I have been the only voice of hockey in Kansas City since 1990. I was the only Stadium Announcer for the Kansas City Blades (1990-2001). I was also the Stadium Announcer for the Kansas City Outlaws in their only year of existence (2001-2002). I am also the ONLY Public Address Announcer for the Kansas City Mavericks as well.I was voted the #1 Stadium Announcer for the entire Central Hockey League for 2012/2013 as well as 2013/2014.

I direct and advise on marketing campaigns and collateral for a leading provider of radio technical products and services. I also collaborate and consult with existing client base to enhance automation systems for radio.▪ I apply experience working with numerous radio automation systems, remote broadcasts, program schedulers, and production software to better understand customer needs and advise on upgrades.▪ I work directly with clients to discuss products and services, and identify ways to improve their radio automation product.▪ I create, design and implement all advertising for DJB Radio, whether it be social media, print ads, email blasts, etc.▪ I assist and oversee tradeshow booth creation and implementation for industry trade shows.

I directed worldwide sales of business-to-business magazine, managing a team to sell print and online advertising, overseeing special custom projects, and the creation and distribution of e-newsletters and e-blasts. Created annual and monthly forecasts, corporate overviews, and marketing strategies and marketing promotions.▪ I increased magazine ad sales by 265% throughout tenure, growing the publication from 6 to 14 issues a year. ▪ Grew annual revenue from $200,000 to over $1 million; voted first runner-up for “Employee of the Year” in a company of 1,700 employees.▪ I exceeded targets by 55%, selling 128 new pages of advertising by contacting new advertisers in competing publications and winning them over.▪ I oversaw a sales staff of four in the sales of an additional 106 pages annually.▪ I managed through transition when Penton Media sold Radio Magazine to NewBay Media in 2011, maintaining a smooth transition of the publication while continuing ad sales, e-newsletters and marketing campaigns.▪ I successfully created and launched 2 new e-newsletters for Radio Magazine, generating more than $225,000 in revenue.▪ I served as Penton Media sales instructor-teaching all company sales people the CRM used by the company.
