During my studies (BSc and MSc), I have been working, studying, and living in numerous different countries in and outside of Europe and gained experience in various fields, such as behavioural ecology, microplastics, and coral ecology. For my thesis research in the Red Sea, investigating algal overgrowth on corals, I was awarded the MareMundi Fellowship 2019.More recently, I have been accepted at Nelson Mandela University, South Africa, as a PhD candidate. My project involves investigating elasmobranch spatial ecology in the iSimangaliso MPA using baited remote underwater video (BRUV) and eDNA.
