Supervise drivers, dispatcher and warehouse operations to include guiding, assigning and training personnel to receive, store and distribute building material.Dispatch or oversee the dispatching of trucks for timely and accurate delivery of product to job sites.Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse to insure that orders are pulled timely and accurately and that they are loaded and unloaded for the vendor or customer promptly.Assist warehouse personnel in loading and unloading trucks using forkliftManage all phases of inventory control to include purchasing, weekly cycle counts, pricing, review and disposition of damaged and outdated stock. I make daily contact with our parent company in England, Vendors, Freight Carriers, OEM's, Distributors and End Users to make sure that the product that has been ordered will ship on time and complete. - Answer incoming calls when a Customer is chasing orders to find out a date that they will receive the order or when they are calling to make sure that the order they placed is entered into our system.- Help with inspections and quality control on incoming products to make sure the items are made according to the prints and that the products is not damaged.- Enter Work Orders into MAS for additional services that our end users need. - Enter client request and updates into ACT.- Use MAS and Excel to generate multiple different expediting reports as another way to make sure product is received on time from our Parent Company and other Vendors.- Use MAS and Excel to generate on time delivery reports to see how our Parent Company and Vendors are doing. - Update Sales Reps when product is coming in so they can make contact with their clients to see if they need any product.- Assist shipping and receiving with checking in orders or packing orders to be shipped out.
