I hold a full, clean driving licence and I am also a qualified Fork-lift vehicle operative (current certificate) and First Aider (including Mental Health).

Plant Manager/Assistant Manager
I manage the Plant Area of one of the largest Garden Centres in the Hillier Group (both in size and turnover). Since I have taken over this position four years ago, I have built a Plant Area which has an excellent reputation both within the Hillier Group and our customer base. I am a strong team leader and I ensure the team I have recruited are motivated, knowledgeable and enthusiastic.I work hard to ensure each team member's individual strengths are recognised and utilised.My main responsibilities are to ensure the correct stock, quality and quantity is supplied to ensure the highest volume of sales.I have accountable freedom to order products to ensure the best choice and quality of stock available.This involves liaison with external suppliers and our own Nursery.I perform the duties associated with being one of the Centre Line Managers and where appropriate I deputise for the Centre Manager .I have also assisted other Centres within the Group to ensure that they also meet the high standards expected from the Hillier brand.I have recently mentored our Plant Manager in Bath and this has provided excellent results.
