  Sittingbourne Pottery was a project that was set up as a Therapy Unit for a young man who had Physical and Intellectual Disabilities as a result of a motorcycle accident. The studio had to be self supporting, and was indeed successful as a commercial enterprise. We exported hand thrown pottery throughout Europe USA South Africa and beyond. My designs were sold exclusively to Harrods. Kevin benefitted immensely from his work at the studio, and eventually regained the confidence to move on and become an independent person.
