Highest level of Support for Dell Storage Center (SC) appliance. Addressing and resolving high impact high complexity issues through leveraging my expertise level of knowledge around how SC functions and how it is integrated into a customer's ecosystem. The latter year of my tenure in this position I shifted over to supporting PowerStore on it's initial release to the market. I quickly became an expert in handling customer performance and iSCSI connectivity related issues.

Support highly available SANs in varying customer environments with an emphasis placed on being the only resource necessary to resolve the customer's issues.Daily duties include:- Troubleshoot and analyse potential restrictions in an application's performance when performing data transfers to and from a volume presented from a SAN- Take ownership of critical customer issues and ensure they are resolved to their satisfaction- Train coworkers on many highly technical aspects of the SAN's operation along with ensuring they understand the material well enough to then apply that information to a customer's issue- Join engineering level meetings to provide recommendations based off of what the support organization is seeing as customer issues in the field and provide recommendations on what could be done to mitigate the issue in future versions of code- A development resource for many of the support organization's internally developed tools- Triage Sev 1 situations to ensure the customer's environment is operational as fast as possible and ensure all resources necessary are engaged to resolve the situation- Review FC and iSCSI switch configurations and statistics to ensure the fabric is properly configured and error free, if there are issues I develop an in-depth plan to correct given the customer's environment- Perform testing in our lab in an attempt to duplicate a customer's issue
