Steve is an established business leader with 15 years of experience in both the corporate and start-up worlds. Steve started his career at Deloitte Consulting and rose to become a leader in their Strategy & Operations practice by demonstrating a keen ability to deliver both top and bottom line growth for his clients. His work in business planning led to improved demand forecasting, supply planning, and ultimately margins for numerous companies in various industries across the globe. Equally as important is the experience he gained working with all levels of organizations. He takes great pride in his ability to connect and empathize with customers and colleagues from the shop floor to the boardroom.While at Deloitte, Steve also had the opportunity to launch his own company (Giftvise, Inc.) and participate in a Techstars startup accelerator program for another (Modern Guild). Both of these experiences taught Steve critical lessons on what it takes to run a business.Steve has an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, where he concentrated in Health Sector Management. He also holds a BA from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University, where he concentrated in Finance and Accounting. He has been an active member of every community in which he has lived, including being a mentor for community college students on the South Side of Chicago and a volunteer and fundraiser for the Special Olympics of North Carolina. He loves spending time with family (particularly his new son), and is an avid traveler, skier, fisherman, Bills fan, and (formerly) swimmer.
