My final responsibilities included Operations support of certain Bell & Howell inserting software functionality. Vendor management for all three of the Operations Sites (Addison, TX / Newark, DE / Hopewell, NJ). Coordination and accounting for all deposit and card relationships for visually impaired customers with (Horizons for the Blind and Metrolina for the Blind) Project assistance with site implementations of systems for the Document Fulfillment Services department. Various other duties as assigned.Some of the projects I was involved in was assistance in upgrading the Return Mail sorter from a lower quality OS, to the bank approved WIN7 platform. This project did go over time and budget, due to management decisions not to bring in the bank service technician from Connecticut. Instead, the decision was made to bring in the 3rd party technician who knew nothing about the bank build and security technology involved, which resulted in the project being later than scheduled and over budget. When I completed my 6 year military commitment with the U.S. Army, I applied for a warehouse position at Boatmen's Bank. Upon waiting for my H.R. appointment, the head of the book keeping department looked over my resume and asked me if I would like to come and work for him, because that warehouse job would be out in the cold and stuffy warehouse. I said sure, I only wanted a job, as I didn't want to draw unemployment.So I started out working in statement processing, then was a machine operator, promoted to inserting manager over 3 shifts in the St. Louis Automated Inserting Department. Upon consolidation of all of the 16 operations sites across the country into the 3 existing sites, I then was promoted to Senior Operations Analyst, and offered the opportunity to work from home in support of these 3 sites.I have and will do any job put before me and seek to accomplish all tasks assigned to me. If I do not know the answer, I will seek out the needed resources.
