I started at Brink’s as a driver and messenger. I prided myself on being friendly to our customers and being an efficient worker.As a cashier I worked with my team of employees to be accurate and efficient at my duties, which included receiving deposits in from the trucks, inputting data, setting up deposits and change orders to be sent out the next day on routes, general routing tasks and customer relations/dispatching. I also run the coin room. Duties there include: working with our customers and the Federal Reserve Bank with coin orders and deposits, ensuring coin duties are being done in a prioritized and efficient manner, keeping the room in balance and doing month end billing. I also help out wherever else it is needed in our branch, whether it is in Currency Processing or the Cash in Transit side of our company. I have learned to be proficient in many of the different programs we use: iTrack, iCash, PC Coin, Cencon, Excel, and Outlook.The Route Coordinator job expands on my duties as a cashier to include: being a leader of truck and route personnel, doing security audits of our route operations, and more general supervision of our branch’s operations as a whole.
