• To have responsibility for the day to day management, quality assurance and development of the GCSE and A Level curriculum, including relevant Skills for Life provision, and the line management of the teaching and support staff allocated to the curriculum within the department• To support the Head in the management and delivery of the department QIP and the curriculum plan in line with the College’s strategic plan, curriculum strategy and the “Excellence through Learners First” strategy• To take the lead in fostering innovation and improving the quality of teaching, learning and assessment across their areas of responsibility to deliver the Learner First Commitment.
