Responsible for driving Sourcing skills and Supplier Management controls across Barclays banking and card operations in Western Europe and Africa

Led the IT evaluation of suppliers during 2006 to 2007 bidding to deploy web services for the launch of Barclaycard in India. Directed the key RFP for customer servicing activities

Project Manager for Ikea in Sweden for tne deployment of a 3D store planning tool.Supply Chain lead for Process Improvement (Category Planning) at United Utilities.Led a successful bid team of 20 to craft a multi million pound winning proposal and supporting web site for an IT Outsource contract (supporting 100 jobs at Vertex), involving partners such as Sun Microsystems and IBM.Projects at JP Morgan bank to deploy a new online web based Programme Management tool and ran their first ever "pathfinder" Sarbanes Oxley pilot to design the subsequent global roll-out of controls.

Built up the PMO function for a massive Smart Card project for the Department of Education in UK. Operations Lead for McDonald's restaurant chain across France for the rollout of Oracle to 900 restaurants.“Restaurant receiving operations” and workflow designer for McDonald's restaurant chain covering USA, France and Canada. Based in Chicago HQ for 6 months.Led the extranet design team for State Lottery , Australia.Wrote the winning proposal and presentation to rollout e-Commerce training to a thousand small businesses across State of Victoria in Australia. Global Y2K lead for the Allied Domecq covering Tax, Treasury, Insurance, HR and Head Office functions. Worked spanned UK, Canada and USA.

BP member on Department of Trade & Industry (UKPIA) body reporting Y2K progress.Y2K Auditing of BP Europe oil terminals and BP Shipping for oil super tankers.Led a team of 20 engaged in the systems conversion of 213 x Mobil petrol retail sites to BP support.Responsible for day to day IT services to all BP petrol stations in the UK. Managed helpdesks, desktop support and IBM AS400 mainframe for network stock control of sites.
