Co-Owner/Captain SV Celebration, 30k miles sailed in nine years, ~25k off shore. Complete redesign and refit of 1977 sailing ketch “Celebration”. Personally designed and built: refrigeration, electrical generation and distribution, desalination, and main propulsion systems. Rebuilt: rigging, galley, plumbing, sail control, navigation, and communications. Current US passport, Merchant Mariner Credential, Transportation Worker Identification Credential, FCC Amateur Radio License KJ4TUS, Board of Directors and Treasurer of the Seven Seas Cruising Association.

Responsible for planning, programming and execution of $750M budget for installation security, antiterrorism, small arms and development, acquisition, and installation of base security systems equipment at over 200 AF installations worldwide.: Seven months in Tikrit Iraq as US functional expert training 2-Star Provincial Police Chief and Headquarters Staff responsible for over 13,000 Iraqi Police.

Led a 429 person organization protecting the Air Force installation, US Central Command, and US Special Operations Command headquarters, supporting 9,900 employees/residents, and over 250,000 retires and dependents. Directed police services law enforcement, confinement, entry control, canine, personnel/information security. Principal advisor to the installation commander on all security, antiterrorism, force protection, and investigations.

Led a training organization conducting Combat Search and Rescue, Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic qualifications, small team tactics, survival, and marksmanship for the Pararescue and Recovery Specialist fields. Directed over $800K annual budget and managed over $6M of facilities, vehicles, watercraft, and equipment.

Responsible for discovery, demonstration, and transition of innovative security technologies and techniques for Air Mobility Command. Investigated emerging capabilities throughout the defense industry, field units, academia, and service laboratories. Shaped future technologies and techniques in installation and resource security, weaponry.
