Starting my career with Dudley UK as a 17 year old, I was keen to please and inquisitive. I had the benefit of a trusting executive team who encouraged me to work in every department in the operation before letting me loose in a stock control/buying role where I ensured the stock levels were maintained and out of stocks were kept to a minimum. I developed my management skills further by moving back into operations as a supervisor, training manager, goods in manager and leaving the business after nearly 14 years as the Operations Manager.
