Serves as the senior agency Physical Security Specialist and is responsible for the implementation of policies and procedures, standards, and training required for program compliance and a safe and secure workforce. Establishes and maintains safeguards for Agency personnel (approximately 12,000), facilities (50+), operating locations (700 worldwide), and technical support systems from the effects of terrorism, vandalism, misuse, theft, assault, espionage, sabotage, and unauthorized disclosure or loss. Indirectly supervises a team of 9 regionally-aligned security specialists covering worldwide operations for a complex and widely-varied security environment. Oversees responsible execution of approximately $4 million in security expenditures with routine annual new acquisition of approximately $750,000 to $1 million in new security technology and systems associated with new facility build-outs, upgrades, and modernization and life-cycle replacements. Currently researching and planning the future acquisition of a nationwide-serving Enterprise Physical Access Control System (ePACS) that will meet the requirements set forth for FIPS 201-2 (Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12) requirements for data and system integrity and information processing and validation. Serves as the Agency lead and appointed member for the Department of Defense-wide Physical Security Review Board which serves as a steering group to facilitate policy development, disseminate security relevant information and support collaboration on the wide range of physical security issues associated with safeguarding and preventing unauthorized physical access to: information; arms, ammunition, & explosives; and other resources, as well as the safeguarding and physical access to DoD facilities and installations.Ensures program and physical compliance through site vulnerability assessments, security and life-safety surveys. Serves as the division SharePoint administrator.

Provides tenant base support for 3 separate reserve units at Seymour Johnson AFB and represents the AF in the local communities. Advises the Mission Support Group Commander on all mission support functions; mentors 4 subordinate squadron and numbered flight commanders. Ensures judicious use of $2.5M Reserve Personnel Program funding & $3.2M+ Operations and Maintenance funding.Trains & equips approx 400+ personnel in 25 separate specialties across Security Forces, Manpower and Personnel, Services, Logistics Planning and equipment storage, as well as IT, Fire Department, Explosive Ordnance Disposal, and Emergency Management and Preparedness. Provides Agile Combat Support to Combatant Commanders and oversees all Wing deployment support. Provides programs/oversight to fully support 12 KC-135R acft/1,200 Airmen

Leads a force of approximately 150 security and law enforcement personnel. Responsible for organizing, training, and equipping all personnel as well as overseeing budget and the full-spectrum of typical management tasks. Main focus is ensuring a continuous state readiness for the force to meet war plan and contingency deployment responsibilities.Serves as the senior security advisor and antiterrorism officer for the 916th Air Refueling Wing, an organization of roughly 1,000 Citizen-Airmen.

Serves as the tactical commander for all defense and security actions on a military base at an undisclosed location. Serves in a position similar to Chief of Police of a small, industrial-heavy community protecting well over $1 Billion in assets. Leads a staff of 5 subject matter experts performing diverse physical security, antiterrorism and force protection tasks. Authors force protection plans for multilateral exercises. Conducts site surveys and vulnerability assessments for dozens of forward operating sites throughout the middle east. Directs mitigation measures designed to ensure safety, continuity of operations, and protection of key assets for both US and foreign-owned sites.
