At the forefront of cybersecurity and compliance, I led initiatives at Baker Hughes and GE that ensured adherence to complex regulatory landscapes such as the US Dept of Defense's new CMMC, US Dept of Commerce's Trade/Export Controls, PCI/DSS, and data privacy mandates like HIPAA, GDPR, and CCPA. My role involved a blend of policy and standard management, stakeholder partnership, and the execution of compliance activities, all while providing subject matter expertise in IT regulatory and privacy projects.In collaboration with stakeholders like Legal's Digital Trust Compliance, Marketing, HR, and DT Infrastructure teams, our team operationalized controls and processes to meet stringent standards and regulations. My focus was on enabling a secure and compliant digital environment, leveraging tools like OneTrust and methodologies honed through direct involvement in manufacturing process improvement and cyber security risk management.
