Leading the team which is responsible for Business & Solutions Modelling within the Maritime Services business of BAE Systems. The role comprises data capture, analysis and simulation modelling, including discrete event simulation, to provide cost effective solutions to complex Ship support, Facility support and other miscellaneous business problems.

Responsible for the capture, compilation, analysis and presentation of business resource and facility capacity information to enable and support strategic decision making in the BAES Naval Shipbuilding business. Covering 3 business sites in Portsmouth, Bristol and Glasgow.Presentation to Executive Directors and MoD customers of Strategic Resource Planning information.Creation of Strategic Plans of the Naval Ships business.Collation and analysis of Resource data to drive Integrated Business Plans and recruitment strategy.Strategic facility utilisation planning of the shipbuilding business.Shipbuilding plans and potential facility developments for future business export opportunities.

Working for the VT Operations Director, was responsible for the delivery of Business plans and information to support strategic decision making. This included the capture, compilation, analysis and presentation of resource and facility capacity information which enabled successful production planning of the shipbuilding workload.

Worked as VT Shipbuilding's representative within the Aircraft Carrier Alliance Build Strategy Team which succesfully developed and delivered the current strategy being used for build of the QEC class aircraft carriers within UK facility constraints. In addition was responsible for the build strategy, facility development, production and delivery of VT Shipbuilding’s element of the QEC programme within the Portsmouth shipbuilding facility.

Working for the VT Transformation Director, was responsible for the design and development of VT’s new Shipbuilding facility in Portsmouth Naval Base. This included producing the original Strategic Plans and Business Cases, management of the Technical Specifications, Procurement process and Budgets for all Facilities and Equipment either new or refurbished. I also assisted in the commercial negotiations with MoD for the VT lease area within Portsmouth Naval Base. After the facility had been completed on time and to budget I was also responsible for the successful commissioning and acceptance of the site into shipbuilding production on the UK MoD T45 Destroyer programme.
