Electronic Technologist/ Cns Technologist
- Operate, perform preventative and corrective maintenance, field modifications, software upgrades, installations, and configurations of communications, navigational aids, surveillance, weather detection equipment, router based IP networks and power systems at several airports and remote locations which are critical to Canada’s air navigation infrastructure.- Certify and ensure that all systems and equipment are in compliance with operational, manufacturer, company, national standards and procedures while participating in Transport Canada / BSI Audits.- Participate in Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) meetings and request releases on equipment needs prior to commencing work. Independently manage workload, conduct site inspections, and record accurate data/ information as required.- Experienced and trained on surveillance Radar (PSR/SSR), Distance Measuring System (DME), Instrument Landing System (ILS), Weather Observation Systems (AWOS/HWOS), data/voice communications, multiplexers, RF Communication, UPS and IPU's.
